Before Selena Gomez was famous for starring alongside David Henrie and Jake T. Austin in Wizards of Waverly Place, she was almost famous for starring with a whole other cast in a whole other show. Originally, the people at Disney planned to use Selena (who they had tested with cameos on Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) in a Suite Life spin-off about Arwin called, you guessed it, Arwin! Below, you can see a clip of Selena in a scene with Samantha Droke, who she ended up working with three years later on Princess Protection Program.
We don't know about you, but we are very happy that this pilot wasn't picked up! Not only does it not look all that funny, but it would have also meant that two of Disney Channel's top series, Wizards of Waverly Place and The Suite Life On Deck, would not have been made. What do you think of the clip?

Disney Channel to Air New Crossover Episode Sometime This Year (Includes Contest)
0 comments Posted by pok at 2:42 PM@DisneyRatings, one of Disney Channel's official Twitter accounts, announced last night that a a new crossover episode is planned to air sometime this year on Disney Channel! The channel had much success with the first, That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana (That's So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and Hannah Montana), and scored giant ratings two years ago with Wizards On Deck With Hannah Montana (Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life On Deck, and Hannah Montana).
The episode will not feature Hannah Montana Forever, as it will be ended by then, and probably not Sonny With A Chance, as Disney Channel would probably want to wait for the main star to be back on the show before it participates in a crossover event.
We here at the Disney Flame love Disney Channel's crossovers, and would like to hear your ideas! You can post your ideas on our Facebook page, or message us on Twitter (both of which can be located to the right of your screen). Please include a title for your crossover, a list of shows included, your first name and last initial, what state you live in, and a summary of the crossover. The contest ends on Monday, January 10, and all of the entries will posted the next day for you to read, enjoy, and vote on a winner. The winner will receive major bragging rights to all of your friends.
Thanks! And we can't wait to read your entries!

Debby Ryan has dyed her hair!
Debby said that she was born with dark hair, and she moved to Germany for several years, where there is little sunlight, so her hair stayed dark. However, Disney wanted a dirty blonde for the role of Bailey Picket, so she died it lighter.
Do you like Debby's new hair color? We sure do!

Yesterday, we reported that The Suite Life On Deck was ending. Well, thanks to Popstar! magazine, we have found out just what Debby Ryan really meant from her latest Tweets.
A rep from Debby's team team dished to Popstar! that, “She didn’t intend to get fans worried. She is working on the last episode of 3rd season. It’s sad and dramatic just like Cody and Bailey’s dramatic last episode for the end of the 2nd season. This is what Debby is referring to when she tweeted. The end of the season is always tough for the cast, because they had such an amazing time this season. She was just expressing her sadness that the 3rd season is over to her fans it was not intended to say anything about the future of the show.”
Yay! Are you glad the Suite Life is still going on?
