How Much Money Does Selena Gomez Make? (And How Much Did Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus Make?)

Many people assume that teen stars make a ton of money per episode, but that really isn't true. Miley Cyrus only made $15,000 per episode for her run on Hannah Montana. Before she left the series, Demi Lovato made even less at $12,000 per episode on Sonny With A Chance. Selena Gomez makes the most money on Disney Channel at $25,000 an episode for Wizards of Waverly Place, which is now in it's final season.
Miley made so little compared to everyone else because she makes $75,000 per single concert she performs, made a ton on Hannah Montana: The Movie, and also makes quite a bit on Hannah Montana merchandise. I can't quite figure out why Demi made so little, but it was probably because her series didn't quite grab the ratings that Miley and Selena's did. Selena still makes a little bit less than Miley did because she didn't make as much for Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie, makes as much on merchandise, or get so much for a concert.
In comparison, Nick's biggest star, Miranda Cosgrove, makes $180,000 per episode of iCarly, but Keke Palmer only made $20,000 per episode of True Jackson VP, and Victoria Justice only made $12,000 per episode for the first season VicTORious, though that is sure to change now that her series has great ratings and it is putting out a lot of merchandise.

Miley Cyrus Passes Britney Spears to Win the Second-Most Kids' Choice Awards Ever

Tonight at the 2011 Kids' Choice Awards, Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus (5 awards each) started out the night tied for second-most Kids' Choice Awards wins (Will Smith being in first with 7). But by the end of the awards, Britney Spears had promoted her new album, "Femme Fatale", with Po the panda, and Miley Cyrus had surpassed her by winning another KCA for her work in The Last Song. Miley is now only one KCA away from tying Will Smith for most KCA's ever won!
We love both Britney and Miley, so congrats to them both! Tell us what you think in the comments.

Miley Cyrus's famous father recently spoke about his daughter's current situation in the world in a GQ interview due on the newsstands in March. Billy Ray said he was scared for his 18 year-old daughter after a series of scandals, mainly the infamous video last year which showed Miley getting high on the psychedelic herb salvia.
But most shockingly, he said he wished that Hannah Montana had never happened.
"The d--- show destroyed my family," Cyrus told GQ. "I'd take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just everybody be okay, safe and sound and happy and normal would have been fantastic. Heck, yeah. I'd erase it all in a second if I could."
Billy Ray played Miley's father to his on-screen and off-screen daughter on 'Hannah', the series of which that launched Miley Cyrus as a teen idol, hit movie star, and worldwide platinum recording artist.
Last October, the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer filed for divorce from his wife Tish after a 17-year marriage.
Billy Ray compared Miley's current situation to celebrities like Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson, who all died in awful drug circumstances.
"I'm scared for her," Cyrus said of Miley. "She's got a lot of people around her that's putting her in a great deal of danger. I know she's 18 but I still feel like, as her daddy, I'd like to try to help. Take care of her just a little bit, to at least get her out of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm. Stop the insanity for a minute. When you go through what she's been through, it takes a beating on you, I should have said, 'Enough is enough -- it's getting dangerous and somebody's going to get hurt'. I should have but I didn't. Honestly I didn't know the ball was out of bounds until it was way up in the stands somewhere," he said.

After almost five years, Disney Channel's highest rated series of all time is coming to a close. It launched Miley Cyrus from being the daughter of country singer Billy Rae Cyrus to international superstardom. She is the most successful teen in the world and owes almost all of it to Hannah Montana. Don't forget to watch the series finale tonight at 7/6c on Disney Channel!

As of today, November 23, Miley Cyrus is officially 18! Over the years, Miley has gone from guest-starring on some of her father's shows, to having her own TV show on Disney Channel, to headlining several of her own to tours, to starring in several hit movies. Miley is planning on going to the beach with her family, and is hoping that that will bring her parents back together. Currently, Miley is filming a movie with Demi Moore titled "LOL: Laughing Out Loud", preparing to film a new movie titled "So Undercover", and her Disney Channel series, Hannah Montana Forever, is airing it's final episodes.
Miley is planning on going to the beach with her family, and is hoping that that will bring her parents back together. We hope it works, since they have already filed for divorce.

The couple confirmed this sad news to the press today after People Magazine ran an article about it yesterday. The couple had been together for 17 years. They had three kids together: Miley, Braison, and Noah. They also have three others, two adopted and one from one of Billy's prior relationships. Billy Ray and Tish exchanged vows together in December of 1992.
We are very saddened by this news. Miley will certainly be upset at the MTV EMA's in about two weeks.
